Baby Groot is a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically within the Infinity Saga. He is a sapling incarnation of the original Groot, following the latter's sacrifice in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

This version of Groot first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He is depicted as a childlike being with limited vocabulary, primarily saying "I am Groot" in varying intonations to convey different meanings. Rocket Raccoon often translates for him.
